Great place for a ski weekend at Okemo. Super easy walk across the lot to Sachem trail which takes you directly to the base or other lifts to move around the mountain. Easy trail to get to when skiing home as well! Saves a lot of time not having to deal with the base traffic at lift open and close. Easy access to restaurants and grocery store. Condo was well appointed and cozy. Suitable for one large family or 2 small ones. Well stocked kitchen and TVs in all the rooms. Mudroom was great for getting gear on and off and storage. Parking was easy too. When we arrived the hot water wasn’t working. Messaged the host and he came by in just a few minutes to fix. Only word of caution is the house is quite a ways up the mountain and the road leading to the house is very steep. We did get snow during our stay and the roads were very slick. Highly recommend using a vehicle with at least AWD/4WD, but ideally 4WD and Winter Tires. Thankfully our SUV has 4WD and snow tires so we had no issue.

Space

The main entrance of Trailside 22DU is located on the front porch of the unit and within steps of the parking area. Entering the home, you are greeted by a mudroom with ample storage spaces and cubbies for your winter gear and boots. The open-concept living space boasts a living room, dining area, and kitchen. Make yourself a home-cooked meal in the updated kitchen with stainless steel appliances and dine at the large breakfast bar with seating for three, or the dining table with seating for six. Lounge in the bright living room with cathedral ceilings, and access to the private porch. Soak in the views of the Green Mountains in the distance and enjoy a drink in the Adirondack chairs.

The first level has an updated full bath and a primary bedroom with a queen-sized bed. Pack away your luggage in the large closet and drift away under the cathedral ceilings with views of the mountains through the window. The upper level has another updated full bath with a washer and dryer, which is attached to the bunk room loft. This space is perfect for kids and sleeps six people with two bunk beds. The upper bunks are single twin-sized beds while the lower beds are full-sized. This large room is ready for forts, games, and playtime!

This mountain getaway will make you feel right at home with all of the amenities you might need, plus the fantastic ski trail access which will make you want to extend your stay.
