This house is one of the nicest places we have…

This house is one of the nicest places we have stayed in Okemo. The beautiful living area was spacious and airy, and the bedrooms were all very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked but still left space for all our groceries. And the access to the mountain for skiing – a short uphill walk to the Sachem trail – couldn’t be beat. The only challenge is that the grade of the road to reach the place is very steep – while it is often plowed/gritted, we happened to need to come when there was a little fresh snow and were stuck for a little while trying to get up to the house in our AWD car (shoveling and putting out more grit helped.) But the best part of our trip was Noah and his people who manage the property. They were incredibly responsive and friendly, and made sure to take care of anything we needed as soon as they could, no matter how small (like getting the TV downstairs to work or coming in a day earlier because of the snow.)

Amazing place, right off the Sachem Trail, you have to…

Amazing place, right off the Sachem Trail, you have to hike up a small incline to get on, but it was totally doable for everyone in our party aged 3 through 65! And the kids loved watching the skiers zip by in the morning and the groomer at night. The house was clean and had everything we needed for a fun week including ping pong which was a great surprise. Three levels to spread out and relax so the downstairs people could cheer on the ping pong champ and not worry about waking the little ones upstairs. We ate in every night and found all the necessary pots and pans clean and ready to use. 2 dishwashers and 2 ovens, a dream come true for a large hungry family. We had an issue with the water not working properly, but Noah was there within 20 minutes and had us fixed up and back in business in less than an hour. We gave this rental an A+ and will definitely be back next year! P.s. *Don’t forget to put your truck in 4 wheel drive at the bottom of hill!
